About me

I'm an operations and continuous-improvement leader. I build the systems a team runs on and develop the people who run them, across healthcare technology, hardware and cannabis. I'm a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a named co-inventor, and the thing I'm known for is bringing data and automation onto the floor without losing the people who work there.

Solar Cannabis Co. · Director of Process Excellence

2023 to now · Somerset, MA · promoted twice in three years

  • I own continuous improvement across the whole operation: cultivation, post-harvest, manufacturing and fulfillment, with 50+ people across several departments.
  • Built a demand and production planning system from the ground up, from retail back through the nursery and new-strain selection. Stockouts on the core line went down while volume grew.
  • Redesigned trim. Bud-to-shake went 57% → 76%, at higher throughput.
  • Record results: the highest flower harvest in company history, plus records in terpene content and per-plant yield.
  • Set a two-week harvest cadence, and cut supply costs 18% through vendor management.

RxAdvance · Sr. Manager, Product Innovation

2013 to 2022 · Southborough, MA

  • Invented and led development of the second-generation connected medication-adherence device. Named co-inventor on the resulting U.S., European and Canadian patents, and the device was used in the investor demonstrations that supported fundraising.
  • Built the automation platform for provider and facility credentialing. It earned URAC accreditation on its first submission.
  • Led product and process innovation across pharmacy benefit management and home health, including the company's cloud platform.

Citi Bike NYC and Bike Chattanooga

  • Led manufacturing, systems testing and field deployment of docking stations and pay kiosks for the Citi Bike NYC launch: 332 stations and 6,000 bikes, the largest bike-share system in the U.S. at launch.

SentiCare · Product Manager and Quality Assurance

First-generation adherence device

  • Helped build the first-generation medication-adherence device and demonstrated it to major healthcare organizations, including CVS and Kaiser Permanente.

Professional kitchens

Many kitchens, including the Medieval Manor

  • Worked in a lot of kitchens before moving into operations. Mise en place is 5S; nobody had told me yet.
  • At the Medieval Manor, a dinner theater, I was chef and operations manager and ran the kitchen and the show on the same clock every night. A look at the Manor.
