Edge Extreme Β· Live Game Intelligence
Real MLB games, two ways from the ESPN play-by-play feed: a broadcast spray board that plots every ball in play by inning, and a retro 8-bit replay that plays the game back pitch by pitch β the ball put where it was really hit, the defense turning each play in the order it happened. Live when games are on; otherwise, press play on a full game. No mock data.
Broadcast view. Every ball in play is placed at its true field coordinate β filled dots are hits (colored by result), muted β marks are outs. The dropdown scrubs inning by inning; the nine defenders are their real players (hover any fielder to enlarge), with the batter, pitcher and base runners in the live moment.
8-bit replay. Each pitch flies in and moves the count; the ball is put in play to its real coordinate and the defense turns the play in order β a grounder to short becomes short-to-first, a double play animates in sequence. The banner calls the moment; runners take their leads and the batter runs it out. Parsed from ESPN's play text, a fixed, machine-readable grammar.
